ATHLETE SUPPORT

1. SELLO JANTJIES

Sello’s story begins in Lesotho, where his family faced hardship and limited opportunity. At just five years old, his parents made the courageous decision to leave everything behind and build a new life in South Africa.

uSport welcomed the family and gave Sello the platform to thrive. He went on to earn a student leadership role, make first team in rugby and hockey, and claim gold at the National Judo Trials. uSport is proud to support a young man who has turned every obstacle into an opportunity.

2. ASTRO FIELD

uSport is proud to be actively supporting Hoërskool Overkruin in one of its most significant projects to date, the funding and construction of a much-needed astro hockey pitch.

uSport’s involvement in this project is a direct reflection of our commitment to uplifting schools and creating better opportunities for young athletes. Together, we are removing barriers and helping Overkruin continue its proud legacy of excellence, both on the field and in the classroom.

3. NATHAN PALMER

Nathan is a 17-year-old golfer from Pretoria with a passion for the game that is hard to ignore. From a young age, his dedication to golf has set him apart, spending countless hours refining his technique.

Already competing at a national level, Nathan has taken on some of South Africa’s most prestigious junior tournaments, including the 2025 SA Boys U19 Championship and the Nomads SA Boys U17 Championships.
